Designer Sports, LLC History

Designer Sports was founded by Pamela Ryan with the corner stone of the company launched from Pamela's extensive research and the acquisition of 2 patents on gender specific helmets for the female athlete. Pamela has granted a license to Schutt Sports to manufacture, distribute and market the Schutt Ponytail Batter's helmet worldwide. The Schutt ponytail helmet was voted number 1 in the NASDAQ and AMEX New Product of the Year in 1999; an event sponsored by the National Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association in conjunction with the Super Show.

In addition to holding 2 patents, Pamela works with manufacturers serving as a consultant, bringing the voice of the female athlete to the product development process.

Pamela has worked with national manufacturers on the development of new product ideas as well as improving existing products to better serve the exploding female market. The next logical step was to start a team dealership understanding the female and male athlete.

We work to solve your teams needs; from the college athlete to the developing athlete. We work with Division I, II and III colleges as well as high schools to clubs and recreational programs. We offer realistic solutions to your team needs
